Communication Studies (MA)

Explore how media and communications shape culture, politics, technology, and everyday life

Students the Communication Studies graduate program will examine the media systems that have shaped the past and the present鈥攆rom social media and artificial intelligence to digital culture, public communication, popular culture, politics, and society.

Students develop advanced skills in media and communication analysis and research, writing, and independent critical thought while preparing for careers in communications, media, education, public affairs, nonprofit work, cultural organizations, and further graduate study.
